Last week Michael, Minet and I drove to Vegas to do our Spring buying at Project and Magic.  We look forward to these twice a year trips so much and couldn't wait to see all the spring trends. Eeeeeeekkk, it is so exciting to get a sneak peak at what is in and buy the best of the best for Dolcetti. 

Its a busy trip for us every year, 3 days of back to back appointments walking a convention is always wearing, but exciting all the same. We also made time for a little fun, seeing the Jabbawockeez show (UH-MAZING), visiting the Sugar Factory and getting overpriced glammed out lolli pops (designed by celebrities and my new fav thing), going to dinner at our favorite restaurant Mon Ami Gabi in the Paris hotel, as well as seeing the newest hotels in Vegas...the city never grows the slightest bit dull. 

We cannot wait to get all our new goodies for spring, but are very excited about all the fall merchandise being shipped now! We left for 2 work days and came back to find close to 20 boxes of new fall merch that had been delivered while we were away. To say we had some MAJOR catching up to do was an understatement. Unpacking, hanging, steaming, unpacking, hanging, steaming :) Our store went from looking pretty summery, to a new beautiful fall palette. So things are exciting around here. You know what they say "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" except somehow we do all our buying there and it still ends up at our store in San Diego. :)
